Members of the public are hereby advised there is a Job Vacancy of Accounts Officer position at Tonga Football Association including the following tasks:
- Payment of expenses with accurate accounts coding and budgets.
- Receipting of inward cash and direct bank credits timely with accuracy.
- Raising purchase orders for office supplies with correct account coding.
- Preparing fortnightly payroll for approval including online quick pay.
- Data inputting to Quick Books of payments and receipts with accuracy.
- File of Payment Vouchers with supporting documents regularly.
- Conduct Bank Reconciliations including General Ledger accounts.
- Maintaining Fixed Assets Register to record assets timely with accuracy.
- Assisting Finance Officer in preparing monthly financial reports
- Assisting Finance Officer in attending to the auditors’ on site visit.
- Any other tasks as directly form the Finance Officer.
The position is in the Finance Department of the Association and reporting directly to the Finance Officer and indirectly to General Secretary/CEO.
Qualifications include a minimum Form 7 or a Diploma in Business from a recognized tertiary institution, over 5 years working experience in Accounting. and fluency in Quick Books, MYOB, MS Office including Word, Excel.
Gross wages before statutory deductions for paye and pensions will be TOP10,000-15,000pa and starting point depends on relevant qualifications and work experience.
