Swiss Beach Soccer expert, Angelo Schirinzi’s visit to the Ha’apai Football was a huge boost to the Tautahi team as their preparation for the OFC Beach Soccer Nations Cup 2023 is still under way.
Angelo Schirinzi along with TFA Chief of Football, Kilifi Uele visited the Ha’apai Football on the 6thof March on a 4 days programme targeting to enhance not only the current knowledges and skills of the Tautahi players but for the coaches to further improve the quality of their coaching techniques and set plays.

Team official Heamasi Manisela explains to TFA Website that the visit was a major plus to their training routine and programmes. “Tautahi team trains every day from Monday to Saturday, and we usually have friendly games once a week however Angelo’s visit helped us to change a few unnecessary things during our preparation and it’s a huge bonus for the team’s lead up for the competition in June.”
During the visit TFA Chief of Football Kilifi Uele explains that they have manage to change a few playing styles and techniques and add on to the current set plays that the team are working on for the competition.

“Mainly what we tried to emphasize during our visit is for each player to understand their roles both during attacking and defending also during set plays especially kick offs, corner kick and free kicks and the rest will come from the players own techniques and experience of the game,” Kilifi Uele added.
14 Men squad are currently on preparation since the ending of last year under the coaching of Ha’apai Football Staffs, Feleti Ulavalu, Peni Fatafehi and Heamasi Manisela.

Coaches awaits travelling squad number to be confirmed by OFC before they will final the team for the competition which is set to be held in Tahiti on the 20th of June.
