Presenting Tonga FA direction for 2016 to the Northern Region of Tonga.

There were representatives from 19 Vavaú football clubs attended with Vavaú Football President and his executive committee members
and Vavaú Football staffs at the Malini Motel in Neiafutahi.
Kilifi Uele, TFA Technical Director, Koli Vakatapu, Referee Officer, Penateti Feke, Competition Manager and Club Licensing, and Palu Úhatahi , Just Play
Project Manager all travelled to Vavaú to conduct this seminar in making presentation of all the association’s technical and development plan for 2016.
Several courses and training have been directed to Vavaú including Senior Women’s League which is a totally separate league
for women’s football which is being fully supported by FIFA.
“ I am very pleased with this seminar, as the representatives were willing to learn and listen to the plan and when I allowed
them to put in some inputs, most questions raised were very constructive, “ Uele says.
“They promised that they will commit to assist in every way they can as long their competition will up and running”.
Mr Manu Moala, President of Vavaú Football, extended his gratitude thanks to Tonga Football for their ongoing support and assistance.
‘’Early 2015, I came on board during the 2015 VFA Annual General meeting, and I witnessed what TFA has been put up for us here in Vavaú, says Moala.
‘’Football is very active and growing rapidly here in Vavaú, and we need to keep these young talented girls and boys who are now playing, so I wish all
football clubs here in Vavaú will make use of their time to give them a good training’’, he added.
Manu also requested for more training for Vavaú in the future.
Vavaú Football is now scheduled their Major League to kick off by the last week of April 2016.
