Tailulu shocked ‘Api Fo’ou in U-17 boys opening

Tailulu took an early lead after scoring their first goal in the 13th minute and scored two more in the second half to seal a convincing 3-0 victory.
‘Api Fo’ou fought with good courage but was not enough to resist Tailulu’s ruthless attacks that gave them the deserved win.
Meanwhile, the Home of Football was filled with joy and laughter as students from 5 different schools in Tongatapu came over to cheer for their respective teams, kicking off the new season.
In the Under 13 level, Tonga Side School girls won by default over Takuilau College and were given a 2 clear points.
Pakilau Middle School smashed ‘Api Fo’ou 3-1 and Tonga Side School boys was given a 2 victory points as their opponent, Pakilau Middle School didn’t show up.
In the girls Under 15 division, Tailulu College and Pakilau Middle School went home with a 1-all draw while Takiulau College girls marked the opening of their campaign with a 1-0 victory over ‘Api Fo’ou College.
Takuilau College U13 boys and Tailulu College had a bye on week 1.
Round 2 will resume this Friday, July 6.
