Position Title: Social Responsibility Officer
JOB SUMMARY:
Tonga Football Association (TFA) in conjuction with Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) is seeking a Social Responsibility Officer to be based in Tonga, as TFA strives to use football as a social development tool which can have a positive impact on:
1. Health
2. Education
3. Active Citizenship
4. Anti-discrimination (gender equity)
The suitable candidate will be resposible for all football social development programs for the benefit of communities and society as a whole.The suitable person will report directly to the Head of the Social Responsibility Department under the management of the General Secretary and are required to provide monthly reports based on the in-country work.
Esential Job Functions ;
• Work with TFA
• Represent OFC in a positive light to your community and international agencies in Tonga;
• Provide regular updates and provide advice on potential projects in the area of social responsibility that could potentially be implemented in Tonga
• Help to expand our reach with promoting football in our region, starting with Tonga
• Identify opportunities/projects that OFC could be involved with that helps to improve the lives of our people in the region
• Implement Social Responsibility projects within TFA as agreed and approved by the Head of the Social Responsibility Department
• Raise funds for Social development projects
• Develop / Maintain relationship between TFA, Government, Institutions and NGO’s ;
• Work closely with the Just Play Manager for the good of the programme
REMUNERATION PACKAGE:
Attractive package negotiable based upon experience and qualification.
