Striker Vika Lelea scored a double in the second half to put the pressure off their shoulder after tailing 0-1 at the break.
Lelea twice showed some brilliant ball skills to put her in a one-on-one position with her opposition goalkeeper, which she scored on both occasion.
She equalized in the 40-minute mark and sail home again 5 minutes later.
The game started strongly in favor of Pakilau MS, who manages to take an early lead, thanks to a solo effort from winger Siosi’ana Taufa.
Taufa uses her speed to run away from the defenders but her effort was not enough to put Pakilau in the final.
Meanwhile, Tonga Side School squeezed pass Vaini Government 1-0 in the 1st semi-final at the Home of Football at ‘Atele.
Playing in front of cheerful vocal supporters, both teams showed good courage and enthusiasm that keep them both scoreless at fulltime.
But deep in the extra time, ‘Ana Havea finds the net from a long powerful shot that gives Tonga Side School a bit of space to breath and for her team to enjoy a deserved victory.
Vaini was left with about 2 minutes to equalize but was a bit too late to play catch up.
However, Tonga Side School will face Takuilau College for the Girl’s U13 crown next Friday, August 10 at the Home of Football, Lototonga Soka Center at ‘Atele.
